Extended hours delivery trial

Various trials of after-hours parcel delivery have occurred across the country recently.

For the most part, trials have been successful with customers being most receptive to accepting parcel deliveries up until 8pm.

Australia Post is now assessing the viability of any future, more permanent, service offerings but have flagged serious interest in extending the offering over the peak Christmas period.

Consultation is continuing in relation to the trials at the national, state and local level where your Union holds a strong interest in ensuring the safety of members in any after-hours service offerings.
