Post must provide facilities for printing payslips

The CWU national office has told Post that no postal worker should be forced to accept payslips via Post’s digital mail box when they sign up receive the $100 bonus. But for workers who choose to ‘opt in’ to receive payslips digitally Post must provide a computer and printer at each workplace so that people can also print a paper copy.

Paper pay slips are useful for keeping a record of pay and checking for errors. There are always pay issues. Some members say that their pay is more often wrong than right. And that’s just their base pay. Importantly to get errors fixed you need a paper pay slip to send back to Shared Services.
