Anzac Day 2025
Anzac Day, observed on April 25th, is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, commemorating the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) soldiers who landed at Gallipoli during World War I. It honors the sacrifices of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. The day is a time to reflect on the courage, endurance, and camaraderie of Anzac soldiers, and to remember those who have lost their lives in service.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
